Muhammad Hafizullah ((ウルドゥー語:محمد حافظ الله)) is Professor of Cardiology, and the current Vice chancellor of Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar. He is the founder of Peshawar Institute of Cardiology .〔 He has actively contributed to national guidelines on thrombolysis, acute coronary syndrome, and ST elevation myocardial infarction developed by Pakistan cardiac Society. == Education and career == Professor Dr. Hafizullah received his earlier education at Cadet College Hasan Abdal. He passed MBBS from Khyber Medical College ,Peshawar in1979 with flying colours. He won foreign scholarship for the best graduates and proceeded to England for higher studies. He received membership of Royal College of UK in 1983 and fellow ship of Royal Colleges of Physicians of Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1995. Recently he was awarded Fellowship of American College of Physicians (FACP). Dr.Mohammad Hafizullah joined Cardiology department of the Postgraduate Medical Institute,Lady reading Hospital, Peshawar in 1984 and since then he was assigned various positions in the health Department.
